About

Growing up I learned that a life lived alongside plants is vital for health and wellbeing. I come from a family of farmers, artists and gardeners. Some of the beautiful bouquets we ofter often come from the flower farm my Uncle founded in Southern California in the mid 1980’s. My Dad and cousins work hard to keep the farm going.

My family and I are so in love with the 99 acre piece of land we are getting to know in Andes, NY. We hope to live there full-time someday. For now, we spend weekends and holidays there in our Airstream camper. I lead workshops there where we walk the land, learn about how to make medicine from plants living there and share in community

Studying and practicing herbalism since 2016, I began working with plants as medicine with my own family. In my work as an herbalist, my goal is show you how to work with plants for healing and to listen to what your body is telling you about your health.

I am grateful to my teachers: the natural world, Robin Rose Bennett, Peeka Trenkle, Sage Maurer and many others.

Warmly,
Catharine Kendall Hannoosh
