Green Magic for Kids, ages 5 - 9

1 - 2:30 pm, Prospect Park, Brooklyn

Please fill-out this form to join us for some real life potion making and fun. During this class we will work with evergreens. Kids will learn how to identify different evergreens, how they have been used traditionally for medicine, and make a evergreen based product with them.

We will also learn about respectful harvesting and the Haudenosaunee Thanksgiving Address. The Haudenosaunee are comprised of the Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, Tuscarora and Mohawk nations. The Haudenosaunee's Great Law of Peace was a source of inspiration for many of the democratic principles that unified the original 13 colonies of the United States.

The event will take place in Prospect Park, exact location sent after registration.
